This hour-long track is specifically designed to support the OSHO Dynamic meditation. The music supports the energy and activity described in each stage of the meditation, and also signals the timing of each stage. A silent stage is part of most Osho Active Meditations, and when the meditation ends with silence it will be concluded with a bell or gong. Dynamic Meditation lasts one hour and is in five stages. It can be done alone, and will be even more powerful if it is done with others.
It is an individual experience so you should remain oblivious of others around you and keep your eyes closed throughout, preferably using a blindfold. It is best to have an empty stomach and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
The most comprehensive guide available to all the Osho Active Meditations, plus a variety of other techniques offered at the Osho Meditation Resort in India, and at Osho meditation events around the world. “The first upgrade to meditation since Buddha’s time.” Published in the USA by St. Martin’s Press the book has been re-issued in a more compact and portable format. In addition to dozens of meditation techniques, the book is an invaluable resource for meditators with Osho responses to questions people have encountered along the way.
“This is a meditation in which you have to be continuously alert, conscious, aware… Don’t get lost. Observe what is happening as if you are just a spectator, as if the whole thing is happening to somebody else…” ~Osho
First Stage – 10 minutes – Breathe chaotically through your nose, concentrating always on the exhalation. The body will take care of the inhalation. Do this as fast and as hard as you possibly can and then a little harder – unitul you literally become the breathing. Use your whole body to push the air out. as if you were a bellows.
Second Stage – 10 minutes – Explode! Express everything that needs to be thrown out. Go totally mad. Scream, shout, cry, jump, shake, dance, sing, laugh; throw yourself around. Hold nothing back; keep your whole body moving. A little acting often helps to get you started. Never allow your mind to interfere with what is happening. Be total, be whole hearted; stay alert.
Third Stage – 10 minutes – With raised arms, jump up and down shouting the mantra Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! as deeply as possible, allowing the sound to come from the bottom of your belly. Land fully on the flats of your feet and let the sound hammer deeply into your sex center. Give all you have; exhaust yourself completely.
Fourth Stage – 15 minutes – Stop! Freeze wherever you are, in whatever position you find yourself. Don’t arrange the body in any way. A cough, a movement – anything will dissipate the energy flow and the eftort will be lost. Stay completely still, and be a witness to everything that is happening to you.
Fifth Stage – 15 minutes – Celebrate through dance, expressing your gratitude towards existence. Carry your happiness with you throughout the day.
