"Cultured groove, one that will take you to paradise. Be transformed as you are taken on a journey to a beautiful mysterious place. Let go, surrender and dance; this CD will free your soul!"
Hope Zara, Yoga Instructor
"This cd is just a lot of fun. Each track is something new, never leaving the listener bored.. At times the music transports the imagination to a rave, while other tracks made me feel I'd been transported to a classical guitar recital. Several tracks made me want to get up and practice bellydancing; I would definitely recommend track nine to those who are so inclined. This cd is great fun, and perfect to have on during the more active portions of your yoga routine, or during a Pilates class."

Through the light of awareness, Grammy-winner and eclectic world-music composer Jim Wilson unites fresh artists from America, South Africa, Bangladesh, Morocco, Brazil and Europe on the latest edition of the Tulku series. Doors to Paradise uses musicianship and mantra as a springboard for tracks that groove.
Among some of the familiar artists featured on the compositions are Jai Uttal, Consuelo Luz and Tina Malia and each voice brings plenty of flora to the soundscapes. The album is more rhythmic than meditative with a very ambient feel. I imagine that this would be perfect to dance to or to just create a positive mood in the context for a party or a festive event. The production is clear and well-done.
If you are a fan of the Buddha Vibe series, you will surely enjoy these tracks. Though there isn’t anything really fresh here in some ways, there is still plenty of high-quality musicianship to appreciate. I like the mix of different singers from one track to the next making the continuity of the songs a complete experience that is always enjoyable. Michael R. Mollura
