Love & Peace is the third release by Lisa Lynne with New Earth Records. On this album, Lisa collaborates with flutist George Tortorelli. The Celtic harp and bamboo flute are two of the worlds most ancient and heartwarming instruments. Since 1997, Lisa Lynne and George Tortorelli have been charming audiences with their magical and endearing sound. "With her solo work, Lisa Lynne has proven to be one of today’s most delightful harpists; her Celtic harp tones literally seem to dance like pixies frolicking in an enchanted glen. Here she pairs up with equally talented flutist George Tortorelli for an album of acoustic-sounding duets between the two artists. The interplay exhibited here is inspired—Lynne’s harp has a strong Celtic slant to it, while Tortorelli’s flute playing (bamboo flute, recorder) plays different roles. On some cuts, his sound matches Lynne’s Celtic strains. “First Light” is an example of this, having a soft, magical Irish sound. On other songs, his flute is more aligned with Native American or Asian themes.
