Who We Are
Bhikkhu Schober
Co-founder, President
FAVORITE QUOTATIONS:
Life is a mystery which cannot be solved.
Despite near-universal consensus among scientists that we are on the brink of an environmental collapse, our society lacks the will to take action. We're collectively paralyzed by apathy, inertia or lack of imagination. |

Waduda Paradiso
Co-founder, Art Director, A&R
OTHER STUFF SHE'S INTO:
Music, painting, dance, theater, architecture, life as a creative artist, An Inconvient Truth, movies, chic black pants, nature, hiking, tantric yoga, opera, veganism, cooking and eating organic food. |
Waduda claims to be biographically challenged, due to the fact that she's still trying to figure out the answer to the eternal question, who am I? Nevertheless, her "biographers" here at New Earth have managed to sniff out a few details about the life she's lived this time around. Here they are, in no particular order whatsoever:
As the co-founder of New Earth Records, Waduda's job is to take care of New Earth's highly talented and sensitive artists and make sure they're happy. She's also NER's art director and makes sure our album covers look pretty.
Waduda studied Psychology at the University of Rome, where she became a regular contributor to the hugely popular Radio Donna, Italy's first and only feminist radio station.
She's voting for Lao Tzu for president.
She claims to have learned to hear the sound of one hand clapping from the great Hariprasad Chaurasia, whom she's also had the honor of accompanying on tambura. At an early age, Waduda began her quest for the "truth." When she met Osho in the mid-70s, she found what she'd been looking for all along. She was spontaneously initiated into the inner revolution and began the never-ending journey from knowledge to knowing.
Waduda gives regular seminars and lectures on the subject of hypnosis and meditation for trasformazione, and contributes regularly to various Italian magazines on the subject of wellness, music and Eastern philosophy.
She lives in the wilderness of Northern New Mexico with her beloved Bhikkhu, and travels regularly to India, around the earth and beyond the "bleep that we know," always together with il suo amore grande.
Favorite CD: all of them. |

Recently moving here from New York City, you would think I don’t have much to say about a small town like Santa Fe, but it is quite the contrary. Santa Fe is such a beautiful city and I have enjoyed every single day that I have been here. Although I do miss the beaches, but it is a small sacrifice. Living outside of New York, I have realized that I have an option to not deal with the stress that the city brings, but instead enjoy a peaceful and calm environment.

I'm a New Mexico native and proud. I grew up in a professional photography studio (my very first job was proofing transparencies and detailing sets, I was a bad sweeper), I was inundated with the world of image creation & I have been nearly obsessed with image ever since.
I have been working & playing in Adobe's wonderful digital world since the first time I saw it 15 years ago. I have worked with many forms of visual media and have worked as a photographer, videographer, video editor & dvd producer, graphic designer and painter.
Favorite color: Blue
Favorite food: Curry
Favorite Photoshop tool: Clone stamp
Favorite New Earth album: How could one decide with so many great titles to choose from! |

I am the Solver of problems, dreamer of dreams, and fixer of broken things. Spatial perception and organization fill my thoughts daily. Solving one problem a day keeps the doctor away.
I can't decide if my favorite part of working at New Earth Records is: the half-pipe, the dirt bike track or the owner's classic car collection.
Have fun! |
