Soraya's Healing Sound
|
With references to the Beatles, AUM, and the Internet, Soraya Saraswati--Terry Oldfield's music and life partner--pulls out all the stops in a recent article, Global Community of Healing Sound. We are offering it in PDF format here for anyone who is interested in the role of sound and music in the unfolding of our lives. The article is an interesting autobiographical look into Soraya's life approach. Terry Oldfield and Soraya Saraswati travel the world facilitating concerts and workshops - they are based in Australia.

Gyuto Monks are artist of the month |
The Gyuto Monks of Tibet are masters of deep harmonic overtone chanting. The sound is almost primal in its delivery and tone. Their sound can be heard at its most raw and direct on their album Pure Sounds. They are also in the audio mix on Kamal's album Zen Mama. To hear their sound in action, click here to listen to audio samples of the tracks.
