"One of my highlights recently was that together with my dear father Dagsay Rinpoche we had the rare chance of getting a private Audience with His Holiness, The Dalai Lama when he was in Hamburg to give teachings on the "400 Verses" of Aryadeva. His Holiness immediately recognized me as he remembered me from the Benedictine Church in Einsiedeln in Switzerland, where I had performed for him in August 2005. I presented His Holiness a copy of the documentary film that the Swiss National Television had taken during my trip to Tibet last year in 2006 and explained that besides supporting the medical clinic and monasteries we are also trying to sponsor higher education for young Tibetans in Tibet. His Holiness emphasized the importance of educating young Tibetans inside Tibet and gave us all his blessings." |
