Chinmaya Dunster launched his new CD 'Buddha Moon' at a private gathering in the posh Koreagon Park neighborhood in Pune, India. The local press, friends, and New Earth Records owners Bhikkhu Schober and Waduda Paradiso attended the event. It was followed by a live show at the performance space at the nearby Osho resort the next evening.

Set to launch this Spring, the New Earth Records sister website, named "Spirit Lounge," will be a nice addition to any browser's list of favorites. The site will showcase an internet radio station, Spirit Lounge Radio, that will feature three seperate streaming audio channels (for starters). This community-based website will soon feature forums and artist profiles to further encourage a sense of unity within the New Earth family...stay tuned for Spirit Lounge and don't forget to visit our MySpace page for videos, pictures, and a great blog!

We have a relatively new face at NEW EARTH RECORDS: Ryone Visscher is our Digital Media Coordinator.  This May Ryone will have attained a Master's Degree in Media Arts and Computer Science. He enjoys working on the variety of tasks that New Earth requires.

In his off hours Ryone is a digital media artist with an interest in the global picture.  Namaste to Ryone as we welcome him to the NEW EARTH COMMUNITY!

Sixty-year-old Classical guitar player and New Earth Records recording artist Ruben Romero died in Santa Fe, NM on February 20th, leaving behind a legacy of enchanting musical talent.

Having studied with Andres Segovia and Paco de Lucia, Romero's career included two albums produced by New Earth Records: Native Brotherhood and Christmas in Santa Fe.  We will miss this man who was so full of life and passion and strength, while at the same time a gentle heart.
