NER: Kamal, today is July 12th and we are here in Santa Fe at the NER creative offices. What brought you to New Mexico?

Kamal: We are on a trip around the world starting from Australia where we live, have visited Germany, and are now here in the US.

NER: Tell us, what project are you working on?

Kamal: When I get back, I will start to work on a new CD called Reiki Whale Meditation, the third in the series of Reiki Whale albums. People really respond to this kind of music and the unique sounds of whales. This will complete the trilogy of Reiki Whale Song, Reiki Whale Dreaming, and Reiki Whale Meditation.

At the edge of the Millenium, The Dalai Lama of Tibet invited 40 of the West's most innovative thinkers in a variety of fields to his residence tucked away in the Himalayan mountains of Northern India to discuss the World's problems and how we can solve them. The resulting feature-length documentary, "Dalai Lama Renaissance," has already received a very positive response.
